My Ayurveda Journey
As a born and raised in India, many of my lifestyle routine and dietary habits were naturally ayurvedic way taught and practice as a day to day rituals in our family. During my childhood, many common illnesses like cold, tonsillitis, digestive problems etc was successfully treated by my family Ayurvedic doctor. From a very young age, I was very curious about understanding the principles of Ayurveda and its holistic approach towards life.
After completing my higher education from a very well known Christian Catholic School, I went on to pursue my professional career in Ayurveda. I qualified in 2000 with a Bachelor Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and was awarded a B.A.M.S degree from Gujarat Ayurvedic University, Jamnagar, India. I also completed M.E.T.C (medical emergency treatment course) from Civil Hospital after my graduation.
My interest in Yoga led me to learn more and complete certification from beginner to advanced level of National Yoga Courses and was honored to represent at National Level Yoga Competition. I actively participate in different Ayurvedic seminar and workshops in India and in the U.K.
My Practice Experiences
I started my career as a Junior Resident Doctor working alongside with Physician, Surgeons and Obstetrician and Gynecologist in the Medical Hospital. I have extensively worked as an Ayurvedic and Panchakarma practitioner in hospital and in the clinical setting in India.
After moving to U.K. in 2007, with the intention to continue my Ayurveda journey, I gain experience working in Birmingham and now based in Cheltenham, I run my Ayurvedic and Yoga Consultation Practice from Oak Well Health Center. I am fully accredited member of the UK’s Ayurvedic Practitioner’s Association (APA).
‘Ayurveda’ is my true passion that I believe help us living an expansive, peaceful and fulfilling life. A life where we value happiness by our state of being rather than a collection of achievements.
