Ayurvedic Poultice Massage
Service detail
Ayurvedic Poultice Massage (Pinda Sweda) is a warm, herbal compress treatment designed to ease muscle tension, soothe joint discomfort, and support overall physical wellbeing. Soft cotton poultices filled with therapeutic Ayurvedic herbs are warmed and applied to the body using rhythmic, gentle pressure to deliver heat, nourishment, and relief. From a scientific perspective, the combination of heat therapy and compression helps increase blood circulation, relax tight muscles, and reduce pain signals in the body. The warmth encourages vasodilation, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to reach stiff or inflamed tissues, while the pressure stimulates mechanoreceptors in the skin that can help dampen pain perception. The herbal ingredients may also support natural anti‑inflammatory processes when absorbed through the skin. This treatment is especially beneficial for women experiencing muscle stiffness, joint aches, stress‑related tension, or chronic discomfort. The soothing heat and herbal infusion help calm the body’s pain response, making it ideal for managing physical discomfort caused by stress, fatigue, or hormonal imbalance. Benefits may include: reduced muscle pain, improved joint mobility, decreased inflammation, enhanced circulation, relief from stiffness, deeper relaxation, and support for stress‑related physical tension. Duration: 60 minutes Includes: Warm herbal poultices, full‑body massage with herbal oils, rhythmic compression, heat therapy. Not suitable for: fever, active infection, recent surgery, or pregnancy unless medically approved. Please note: This treatment has specific eligibility requirements.
